This workshop will provide an overview of work in Indiana to develop supportive housing opportunities in Indiana. Supportive housing is designed for individuals and families who have had significant barriers to accessing and maintaining housing. It is affordable, permanent and client-centered services are offered. The State has increased the supply of affordable housing across multiple populations. This workshop will focus on programs that can serve individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders or both. Learn about how supportive housing opportunities are created in Indiana and the referral mechanisms for clients.
