Dr. Adams is clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor in the IU Department of Psychiatry. His clinical and research interests center on improving care and promoting healthy outcomes for youth with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with a particular emphasis on youth and families impacted by trauma. He leads several programs geared toward expanding access to high quality, evidence based behavioral health care in Indiana and chairs the Child Trauma and Resilience Committee of the Indiana Commission on Improving the Status of Children.
